This is the blogspace of the radio show entitled Flight Sessions, broadcast every Wednesday on Resonance FM 104,4 at 7.30 pm(UK).
The show is a 4-part mini guide to Greek contemporary music with samples ranging from ambient, shoegaze and electronica to noise and experimental.
The first edition of Flight Sessions will be broadcast this Wednesday the 17th of September 2008 and it will be entitled Stories from the sea.
The three editions following Stories from the sea will be:

Episode 3: Sounds From the Stratosphere(1st October 2008)
Episode 4: 5 flights revisited (8th October 2008)

The show is presented and produced by Maria P.
Maria P. is a sound and radio artist. from Greece that currently resides in London. She has presented her compositions and installations in a variety of European festivals. Flight Sessions is her latest offering to the UK airwaves. Other programmes she has produced were: a tribute to Manos Hadjidakis(December 2007, Resonance FM), Lena Platonos(January 2008, Resonance FM). Some of her guests were DJ Rheteric(UK), Kat Vipers (UK) and Fil Ieropoulos (UK and Greece).
